These pieces were influenced by a show I saw in Venice in 2009 at Palazzo Fortuny. The thesis of this show was that In-finitum speaks of the unfinished and the infinite, of man's pilgrimage to a better understanding of the universe, knowing that he will never reach ultimate knowledge. There are never two moments that are the same, each being is different, each instant is unique and therefore sacred. Hence, one should not concern oneself with originality, everything is original and singular. By allowing myself to work spontaneously and quickly, I feel these pieces were given to me.
